This little home gym keeps me strong at 64, and it all started for under $300. In this video, I give you a full tour of my 11×10 basement utility-room gym, showing exactly how I built it out, what equipment I chose (and why), and what I wish I had done differently from the beginning.
I walk through the exact equipment I use each week to stay strong at 64, including:
- A compact Body Solid rack and bench
- My barbell & EZ curl bar
- My full dumbbell set (10–70 lbs.)
- Magnetic micro-plates for small strength jumps
- Chin-dip station, dip belt & neoprene grips
- 4×6 rubber flooring
- Custom mirror
- TV + sound system
- My LED indirect lighting solution
If you’re over 60 and want a simple, effective, joint-friendly home workout setup, this video will give you everything you need to get started.
