at 43, I couldn't run 50 yards.
here's what changed.

Getting strong after 60 doesn’t start with a program or a gym membership. It starts with a picture you can actually see — and then something much simpler that keeps you going after the motivational spark runs out.

👉 FREE BEGINNER STRENGTH PROGRAM — “Stay Strong, Stay Young” https://geni.us/StayStrong. The exact starting point I’d give anyone over 50 who’s never lifted: which exercises, how to progress, and how not to hurt yourself.

Most people who try to get strong after 60 do the same thing. They find some motivation, go hard for a few weeks, and then stop and decide the problem was them.

It usually isn’t. The motivation spark has a shelf life. Mine lasted about twelve weeks.

In this video, I’ll show you the two things that actually work: how to build a picture specific enough to get you started, and what to do next so that you’re still training twenty years later.

The second part is simpler than you’d expect. Two mornings a week. Five sessions with a trainer, not ongoing. A program you actually enjoy doing. And one rule I never broke — I never added the next step until the last one felt easy.

At 43 I was thirty pounds overweight and couldn’t run fifty yards. At 65 I do pull-ups. This is how the second part happened.
